Choose the perfect frame
Go for colour
When picking a coloured frame for your artwork, you can either enhance the piece’s existing colours or create colour contrast for a bold effect. Also consider your wall colour, furniture, and accessories - what tones can you echo or play off?
If you want to complement the artwork, choose a frame colour that harmonizes with the dominant shades of the print. If the print for example has an orange colour detail, echo this with our Terra Orange frame. You don’t need an exact colour match — a similar tone can create a cohesive, layered look.
Prefer contrast? Pick a frame colour that stands out and adds a surprising twist. This approach brings a new layer of energy and dimension to your framed piece.
Or choose wood
Would you like to go for wood? Also here, you can't go wrong. Do not worry about what other wood tones are in your furniture or flooring, choose the wood that enhances the artwork you are framing.
“Mahogany” is a warm and brown-red toned wood. It is our favourite wood colour and works very well with for example our bright coloured prints as well as prints with warm terracotta tones.
“Walnut” is a grey toned wood veneer. It is definitely a favourite because it is sophisticated, modern and matches very well with a lot of our work.
"Oak" is the lightest wood with a small hint of grey.
